Work Description: On Set Dresser, Graphic Design
I worked as an assistant to the Production Designer Anindita Chaturvedi. I got the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of the craft- referencing, ideating, sourcing, prop styling, shoot handling and graphic design for the web-series. My prime focus was on ensuring that all on-set art requirements are met while also helping the Director and the Production Designer meet their collective vision.
The show focuses on five main characters belonging to different parts of India and varied socio-economic backgrounds. For each character we built a new world, demanding a thorough research and a sensitive approach. This gave to room to a lot of possibilities in terms of design and allowed us to tell their varied, meaningful stories through them.
